- By foot: From Liverpool’s historic waterfront, you can walk to Lime Street in under 20 minutes by heading east through the centre of the city. The station is just opposite St George’s Hall and St Johns Shopping Centre.
- By Merseyrail: Lime Street station is on Merseyrail’s Wirral Line, meaning you can take a direct train from Birkenhead to Lime Street underground station. You can also switch at Moorfields from the Northern Line and catch a Wirral Line train to Lime Street underground station. There are also connecting Northern services from Warrington and Wigan which arrive directly at Lime Street mainline station.
- By bus: Over 30 bus services terminate at Queen Square Bus Station, which is less than a 5-minute walk from the entrance of Lime Street Station.
